Membership Information for the CISR

The CISR is open to all companies worldwide. We are a Center for all integrated plants, mini-mills and suppliers to the steel industry.
 
Membership fees range from $35,000 to $60,000 per year, depending upon the company size. Three year commitments are normal for first time members. The Center is suitable for both carbon, specialty and stainless steel producers and their suppliers.
 
Membership allows access to the research already underway within the center. Reports are sent approximately two weeks before the Center meetings, which are held twice a year. Project direction is determined at these meetings. Each company member has a board member. The board is responsible for choosing new projects and overseeing already started projects.
 
Members also have limited rights to patents and software as outlined in the contracts signed at the time of joining the Center.
